Strengthening Roots for a Prosperous Future

Here at Rose Leaf Foundation, we’re committed to investing our expertise and resources in order to further achieve our cause. Each year more than 23,000 children age out of the US foster care system. Statistics show that only 3% of young people who have aged out of the foster care system earn a college degree. It has also been reported 7 out of 10 girls who age out of the foster care system will become pregnant before the age of 21. Currently, South Carolina ranks 38 out of 50 for Child Well-being.  Achieving self-sufficiency, post-secondary education/training, stable housing, job security, and maintaining optimal levels of wellness are just some of the issues that young people of this population face. Rose Leaf is dedicated to connecting with individuals who have aged out of foster care to help make their transition into independence and adulthood a smooth one. Rose Leaf, will provide services and ensure that clients are linked to resources that will help them break common barriers, young people who age out of foster care face.  Rose Leaf foundation will have a workforce development program that allows young people to work for partnering businesses while also participating in special trainings by Rose Leaf that will be geared towards, professional development,  wellness, and independent living. It is our goal to help our clients become productive citizens in their communities and the world beyond.  Just imagine what we can achieve together!
